Congas as we know them today originate from Latin America and the Caribbean, particularly Cuba. However, their history can be traced back to Africa. Hardly any other hand drum is as prevalent in both traditional Latin and modern pop music. However, congas are also among the largest and most unwieldy drums. They sound great in any drum circle, but we don't want to lug them around. That's why we're focusing on versions for kids here :-)
The Remo Rhythm Club series is impressive with its low price and good quality, offering all the usual Remo features. Both the external design and the architecture of the instruments make them extremely accessible for children. The permanently mounted, pre-tuned heads eliminate the need for any maintenance by the users.
The Kid's Percussion series makes no compromises in sound and quality. In addition to the appealing, child-friendly design, special attention has been paid to transferring all the tonal features of the ‘big’ instruments 1:1. This is not the only reason why even experienced musicians often find themselves enjoying the sound and playability of these instruments!
